ENRICH Scaling Week
The ENRICH in Africa – EiA Scaling program is a comprehensive support program designed for entrepreneurs and innovators from the African diaspora in Europe who are ready to expand their businesses into Africa via Ghana, Senegal or Zimbabwe.
The main goal of the program is to empower these talented individuals and provide them with the tools and resources needed to effectively scale their businesses.
As part of this program, Impact Hub Dakar supported and welcomed two entrepreneurs from the diaspora for a week of immersion in Dakar from July 10 to 14, 2023.
Augustin Doumbe (Cameroon/France), CEO and Founder of Delivery Academy, and Wilfried Dabire (Togo), Founder of Eazy Chain, were involved in a set of activities carefully designed to support them in soft landing their startups in Senegal.
During the Dakar scaling week, the entrepreneurs took part in the following activities:
Personalized workshops in Investment Readiness and the Business Culture in Senegal
An exclusive session on the playbook of Soft Landing in Senegal, a guide created by Impact Hub Dakar,
Visits to essential institutions of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Senegal, such as the DER (General Delegation for Rapid Entrepreneurship of Women and Youth - DER/FJ) and Haskè Ventures
Visits to companies recognized for their success in logistics and fundraising , such as Paps and Socium Job
An ecosystem dinner which brought together important players who have supported entrepreneurs throughout this week as well other entrepreneurs in the Impact Hub Dakar network.
The week was very productive as the two entrepreneurs started talks with at least 4+ Senegalese partners, were in touch with 5+ mentors, identified primary activities for their startups in Senegal and immersed in the Senegalese startup ecosystem to better evaluate their strategies for scaling.
